Originally recorded in 1965, akeyyear for Shorter following his classic albums Ju Ju and Speak No Evil for the label, The Soothsayer was inexplicable shelved but is nonetheless right up there as another must-have, starring James Spaulding, Freddie Hubbard, McCoy Tyner, RonCarter & Tony Williams. Picture sleeve with Japanese text insert & '1800' obi-strip. The sleeve has only minimal wear whilst the vinyl is in 'near as new' condition with very little signs of play. Recommended.
