B6 Go Your Way | | THE ATTACK Try It (Very Rare January 1967 UK 'A' label
demonstration vinyl 7" for the debut single release by the short-lived
Garage Psych/Mod combo from London, with custom 'Demonstration
Sample - Not For Sale' print, '27-1-67' release date text& four-prong
centre. Also features the belting b-side 'We Don't Know', complete
with period die-cut Decca company sleeve. The vinyl has been play
tested & the sound is fantastic with no jumps. The vinyl grades VG-
with light surface wear, multiple paper hairlines & scuff marks causing
minor background surface during playback. Note: there is a tiny
scratch on the b-side causing a few faint clicks on rotation. Thanks to
the quality of British Decca pressings of this period, condition is mostly
cosmetic & the sound quality remains very agreeable. Far from mint,
this is still a great example for the collector F.12550) | | THE ATTACK Neville Thumbcatch (Rare original 1968 UK dark blue
and white Decca label 2-track MONO 7'' vinyl DEMO single with
4-prong push-out centre intact. Neville Thumbcatch is a catchy
pop-psych song telling the story of a man and his allotment, whilst the
flip Lady Orange Peelcatches them at quite possibly their strangest!
Alas, the single failed at the time and is consequently now hard to
find. This particular rarity comes from the vast personal archive collection of a former music critic and journalist, played once for review then locked away in storage for more than 30 years - you will have a job to find one in better condition than this! F12725)
Tracklisting: 1. Neville Thumbcatch
2. Lady Orange Peel | | THE ATTACK Hi-Ho Silver Lining (1967 UK 7" single with
four-prong centre, a great mod '45 from the short-lived
London band that were much fancied at the time but sank
without trace [yes it's the same song made famous by Jeff
Beck, but this wasfirst!]. Head to the b-side & you get the
almighty self-penned rocker 'Any More Than I Do', die-cut
company sleeve. The vinyl grades VG [small 'x' mark on the
b-side] with light spindle marks & paper hairlines which have
little effect, pricedadvanageously F.12578) | | THE ATTACK Hi-Ho Silver Lining (Rare 1967 UK 7" vinyl single
with intact 4-prong centre, die-cut company sleeve. Great mod
'45 from the short-lived London band that were much fancied at
the time but sank without trace [yes it's the same song madefamous by Jeff Beck, but this was first!], backed with the
self-penned Any More Than I Do. The vinyl is in Excellent
condition with just the faintest of hairlines visible under strong
light F.12578) | | THE ATTACK Final Daze (2001 Italian pressed UK issue limited edition
