Columbia FACTORY SAMPLE stickered 10-track MONO LP in the highly
collectable Lansdowne Series [named after Denis Preston's studio
down Lansdowne Road]. This collectable British female vocal-led jazz
album is arranged and conducted by Jerry Allen, and features the
great British tenor saxophonist Tony Coe alongside Leon Calvert on
trumpet, guitarist Ike Isaacs, Brian Brocklehurst on bass, Jerry Allen
organ/piano, Latin percussioncourtesy of Barry Morgan plus Ronnie
Verall and Bobby Orr alternating on drums. This particular rarity comes
from the vast personal archive collection of a former music reviewer
and journalist and has been locked away in storage for over 30 years.
Both the front laminate flipback picture sleeve and vinyl remain in EX+
condition - a lovely copy of a record that rarely shows up for sale!
