Tracklisting: Handsworth Revolution was dedicated to the people of Handsworth, a poverty-stricken neighborhood of Birmingham with its population heavily West Indian, and home to this classic British reggae outfit. Known for their politically fired music influenced by the dread militancy of Jamaica's roots scene and landing slap bang in the middle of the British punk explosion of the late 70s. Steel Pulse's debut album is now considered a classic, not just for its strength and urgency but for soldering in steel the very links between the British punk and reggae communities of the time.
