A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| SAMURAI (UK) Samurai (1998 UK 7-track LP pressed on 180g
vinyl, textured picture sleeve. This cult classic was originally
released in 1971 and was the only album by the British
Progressive band that originaislly started life as a jazz/blues
group under the moniker, The Web. They changed their name
after replacing John Watson with Dave Lawson on vocals, who
went on to join Greenslade. With stunning Oriental-style Psych
artwork by Victor Meara across the sleeve, this is a must own
British Prog masterpiece. The sleeve shows very little wear and
the vinyl appears barely played 7103DRPR)

Condition : -
The sleeve, one of the finest Prog-Psych sleeves of the era no less, shows some signs of age, largely due its matt finish, with some light storage wear mostly around the edges & a few minor spots of paper loss from ring wear, with all text legible. Not perfect by any stretch but very presentable, indeed.
The labels are clean & unblemished, suggesting little play. The vinyl is clean & reveals just a little faint cosmetic wear both sides, not interfering with play. We have play tested the whole album & can confirm it sounds outstanding. First press vinyl is still the best option sound wise for this gem. What an album it is!
On the whole, a very respectable VG+/EX- copy of this F. Rare pressing & the first copy we have ever seen. |
