A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| JULIET LAWSON Boo (Rare 1972 UK 12-track LP with aid from such
notables as Iain Blair, Lol Coxhill, plus bassist Bias Boshell and
guitarist David Costa [here as producer] from The Trees. Like many
one-shot female led folk albums ofthe era, from Vashti Bunyan to
Linda Perhacs, the record died a quiet death at the time, though
picked up in later years by collectors who were properly listening. A
very nice copy, the textured gatefold picture sleeve shows just a little
shelfwear, a littlediscolouration in places & some age yellowing at the
edges. The side one label has an unfortunate tear where someone has
removed a historic 'Factory Sample' label, so this copy was almost
certainly sent out for review. As such, the vinyl remains beautiful and
near 'as new' with little sign of play. A nice copy at an advantageous
price SVNA7257)
Tracklisting: Dear Fool
Igloo
Nothing New
I Won't Get My Feet Wet Again
Who Is India?
Let Me Not Put You Down
Only A Week Away
Playing Is No Song
You're So Right, September
The Weeds In The Yard
Rolling Back
