A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

HAZE Haze (Exceptionally Rare 1974 UK-only Private Press 23-track LP, one of just 99 copies made for tax avoidance, presented by second, fifth & sixth year pupils & their teachers from the Hayes School in Bromley. These were students oftheSixties, however, & there is a wonderful Acid Folk tinge to the whole record. There are semi-groovy high school tunes aplenty, with female duel-vocals, covers of songs by The Beatles, a bizarre poetry reading of Chicago's 'Does Anybody ReallyKnow What Time It Is?' & two wigged-out & fuzzed-up Psych-improv tracks called 'Instant' & 'Free Coffee'! Members of the Hayes school descended onto sunny Richmond Park for a day in order to raise funds for this one-off LP, & so the record sports unique colour picture labels & a glorious full colour gatefold picture sleeve, usually reserved for major label acts, complete with a special 'thank you' insert. The cover grades VG+ with some light ring wear scuffing & the vinyl appears Near Mint. A lovely one owner copy, unlikely to be seen again - If you collect private pressings or Hans Pokora type recommendations, do not miss this)

Tracklisting: A1 The Fool On the Hill A2 No Man Is An Island A3 Eleanor Rigby A4 Loneliness Is Just A Word A5 Candle In The Wind A6 The Sound Of Silence A7 A Lonely Man A8 I Am A Rock A9 Bridge Over Troubled Water A10 With a Little Help From My Friends B1 Instant B2 In the Begining B3 Extract From The War Poet B4 Want No War B5 Extract From The Great War B6 The Impossible Dream B7 Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is B8 Let There Be Peace On Earth B9 When All the Laughter Dies In Sorrow B10 Free Coffee B11 A Song For You B12 You're Just That Kind Of Friend B13 Top Of The World
