vinyl single is the earliest recording by the Green Day frontman,
pressed by the Fiat label when Billie was just five years old.
It is believed that less than fifty copies werepressed. This one comes
with the original A4 fold out sheet music which has a picture of Billie
on the front. Both the 7" and the sheet music are in immaculate mint
condition - See 'More Info' for further details on this, the rarest Green
Dayitem in existence!)
Tracklisting: Much discussed amongst fans on message boards and forums, this legendary 7" is the earliest known recording by the Green Day front man.
It was recorded and manufactured by a local Californian label Fiat Records and given the catalogue number 'Fiat#11' when Billy Joe was just five years old!
Billy was encouraged to record the single by his music teacher who had heard that Billy was singing to people in hospitals and church to help cheer them up.
The title track is 2:11 and is nothing like his many hits with Green Day, such as American Idiot, Warning and Basket Case. The b-side features a 2:23 insightful interview with Billie Joe, recorded immediately after he cut the record. During the interview he speaks about his family, school and his wish to keep singing when he grows up.
Only a couple of these items have surfaced over the last few years and it is believed that fewer than fifty copies were pressed.
What is special about this one in particular however is that it comes complete with the original A4 size red toned sheet music with lyrics and cute looking picture of Billie Joe on the front.
Both the 7" and the accompanying sheet music are in immaculate mint condition, despite being over thirty years old.
Be the envy of your friends by owning the rarest Green Day item in existence! | | BILLIE JOE + NORAH Long Time Gone (2013 Japanese 1-track
