BERT JANSCH Bert Jansch (1965 UK 15-track Transatlantic LP recorded by Bill Leader on a reel to reel in his kitchen & sold to Transatlantic for the princely sum of £100. Transatlantic pressed the album directly from that reel to reel & it went onto sell 150,000 copies - Not bad for a 'Folkie'! With such gems as 'Do You Hear Me Now?' [later a hit for Donovan], the chilling 'Needle Of Death' & the omnipresent cover of Davey Graham's 'Angie', which was seen as pretty much a rite of pass more...
