JOHN & WINSTON J Funky Woman (Incredibly rare slice of Seventies Islands Funk on this 1975 UK 7" single with a seriously James Brown flavour given a little Islands treatment, also including the Instrumental 'Does It Have To Be ThisWay', plain die cut sleeve. Very little is known about this highly sought after single or the artists that cut it, but the producers are listed as 'T. St. John, S. Ladeji & S. Bucknor' so there could possibly be some Jamaican involvement if the 'S. Bucknor' is Sid [Norman] Bucknor, which would fit. This copy is not only one of the hardest Funk singles to find in itself but has also been autographed twice by Thomas St. John on the plain sleeve.
