THE IGUANAS Mona (1965 US solid centre 7" vinyl single, also including I Don't Know Why. This is Iggy Pop's first band, in which he plays drums. The disc itself has machine stamped matrices of ZTSC121007-1A & ZTSC121008-1A, unlike the 80s counterfeits which had 'AR 201 Mona' in the run off vinyl instead. This was initially pressed as a run of just one thousand copies and only available directly from the band at gigs but Bass player Don Swickerath found an unopened box in the late eighties which is where most of these have surfaced from, I guess.
