POWDER Biff! Bang! Powder! (2009 Spanish exclusive limited edition 14-track LP pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl - originally released on the Distortions label in 1992, this incredible album is comprised of previously unreleased 1968 demo recordings from this little known San Mateo, California-based band; brothers Tom & Rich Martin were the undisputed hipsters in their area, searching out obscure UK imports and absorbing the tough mod sounds coming from England. The majority of these recordings were made at the legendary Gold Star Studios in Hollywood, and remained unreleased [and largely unknown] until they were re-discovered in the early 90s! Long out of print on vinyl, this is a most welcome reissue!) ** Limited to 500 copies ** more...
