MAPLEOAK Mapleoak (2004 Japanese promo sample issue of the limited edition 11-track remastered CD album, issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release. MAPLEOAK Son Of A Gun (Rare 1970 demonstration sample vinyl 7" single with unboxed Decca label. The band was formed by The Kinks bass player Peter Quaife with guitarist Stan Endersby, and they named the band after a combination of each of their two countries’ national emblems – the Canadian Maple Leaf and the English Oak.
