HARRY S. TRUMAN Precinct To President (Rare & Historical 1958 US interview disc MONO vinyl LP, documenting a 2nd February 1958 interview for CBS Network conducted with the former US President, Harry S. Truman, answering questions put to him by the American journalist, Mr. Edward R. Murrow. The disc was produced strictly for private use only and designated exclusively to The Hansard Society For Parliamentary Government in Britain. This tied in with Truman's round trip to Europe that year, where he met Winston Churchill, Pablo Picasso and received an honorary degree in Civic Law from Oxford University. The record labels are custom black on white with 'Private Record' & 'For Private Use Only' print, housed in a heavy duty brown-paper sleeve with custom 7 x 27cm label. Documentation for this item is thin on the ground to say the least. Worthy of an exhibition piece, certainly only a small number were produced and never sold to the general public.
