The very first pressings of this classic album by Dave Stewart,Mont Campbell and Clive Brooks actually had misprinted titles on the back of the sleeve. The record company response to this was to obscure the misprinted backs with a large sticker containing the corrected text, before the reprinted sleeveswere manufactured in time for the next run. This copy is in very nice condition indeed, showing very little general shelfwear & the barest minimum laminate creasing. The text on the pinched spine is very clearly readable. The vinyl is in spectacular near 'as new' condition with just a few light cosmetic surface scuffs to show for its forty years. EGG Egg (Rare 1970 UK first issue 8-track MONO vinyl LP on the dark green 'Nova' series Deram label, front laminated picture sleeve with mono/stereo hole, red-for-mono inner & tracklisting sticker on the back. The very first pressings of thisclassic album by Dave Stewart,Mont Campbell and Clive Brooks actually had misprinted titles on the back of the sleeve. The record company response to this was to obscure the misprinted backs with a large sticker containing the corrected text,before the reprinted sleeves were manufactured in time for the next run. The sleeve is overal graded as Very Good, there is creasing to the laminate and moderate ringwear to the reverse; someone has attempted to remove the sticker resulting on the top right area missing, however the text is still legible. The vinyl is graded as VG-/VG with scuffs and hairlines; there is noticeable crackle to the beginning of each side, mostly Side One, however this soon settles down and becomes mostly unobtrusive. Far from mint, this is a nice play copy of a late addition to the mono catalogue of Decca at a knockdown price DN14) more...

The vinyl remains in VG condition with light cosmetic wear caused by a chemical reaction with the original inner and light paper scuffs. EGG The Polite Force (Superb 1971 UK 4-track stereo LP by the brilliant & experimental British Prog power trio, opening with the belting A Visit To Newport Hospital, front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows a little laminate creasing near the spine along with some general shelfwear, mostly visible on the unlaminated back. All text remains easily readable, as does the spine. There is a small nick to the opening edge but otherwise, the sleeve is in lovely condition.
