THE BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND The Paul Butterfield Blue Band
(Magnificent Debut 1965 UK first press 11-track MONO LP, on
the gold 'guitar player' Elektra label with 'Manufactured In
England' print. Trailing a few years behind the British Blues
boom of the sixties, this was one of the first American Blues
records led by a white singer; Paul Butterfield helped rekindle
the Chicago Blues sound in the sixties, bringing it to a new
audience with the aid of two superb guitarists, Mike
Bloomfield & Elvin Bishop. The pasted laminate sleeve is US
printed with no deletion cuts & remains in Excellent condition
with just some minor discolouring to the back panel,
forgiveable after half a century. The vinyl too is clean & in
Excellent condition with merely the odd faint paper scuff to
highlight play. Recommended EKL-294)
