THE BONZO DOG DOO DAH BAND The Alberts, The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band And The Temperance Seven (Rare 1973 UK only 14-track compilation LP featuring a magical collection of 20s & 30s retro by the three kings of the genre in the sixties. What makesthis album extra special is that it's the ONLY place, apart from the extremely rare singles, that you can find on vinyl the first four released tracks by the Bonzos. These came out in 1966 on Parlophone, before the band released 'Equestrian Statue' on Liberty in 1967, and comprised the magnificent 'My Brother Makes The Noises For The Talkies' & the equally wonderful 'I'm Gonna Bring A Watermelon To My Girl Tonight', which was their first single, and 'Alley Oop' with 'Button Up Your Overcoat', which was the second. The icing on the cake is that, unlike the singles, these are true STEREO versions of the tracks!
