RAINBOW Monsters Of Rock (Official 1980 UK 24 page
programme for the Monsters Of Rock festival on 16th August.
Promoter Paul Loasby planned a day-long summer festival
dedicated specifically to bands from within the heavy rock
and metal genre.As he hadbeen promoting the recent Rainbow
UK tour, he asked them to headline the event. The venue
chosen for the event was the Donington Park motor racing
circuit at Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England where it
was held annually for seventeenyears. This was the very first
festival with a line-up consisted of a mix of British and
international hard rockers and heavy metal bands including
Judas Priest, Scorpions, April Wine, Saxon, Riot, Touch and
Running Wild, with 35,000 people attending. The programme
features pages dedicated to each act including some great
black & white and colour photographs. This example remains
in a really nice condition with only a little light general wear &
signs of age, and also includes a ticket stub for the festival)

RAINBOW In Concert (Extremely rare Autographed 1976 UK
20-page tour programme including tour dates, 'Rainbow Rising' album
advertisement, equipment, crew members, individual biographies with
photographs and great double-page 'live' picture with rainbow stage
lighting. The cover shows some minor wear and little light creasing with
the inner pages excellent. This example has been signed by
Jimmy Bain & Tony Carey in blue point pen on their own pages, Ritchie
Blackmore in ablack ball point pen and the late, great Ronnie James Dio
in a pencil both on the same page. A really nice and hard to find
collection of signatures collected together almost forty years ago,
Ronnie sadly died back in 2010, his autograph is now very sought
after)
