When the album was launched there was huge criticism regarding production from the fans and media, the album has compromised sound quality due to an overly compressed dynamic range with audible clipping & distortion, the sonic problems are not present in the 'Guitar Hero III' game version. This disc was approved on the 23rd August 2008 from 1:23am [over a month before the album was due to be released], although the sound is similar to that of the final album version it does not sound as distorted.
