LOUIS ARMSTRONG & ELLA FITZGERALD Porgy And Bess (Rare
1959 UK 15-track Mono double LP on the gold lettered 'Nipper'
label, housed in a superb front laminated heavy card pasted
gatefold picture sleeve with integral illustrated ten page
bookletdetailing the plot, background to the composition of the
opera and notes on the recording by producer Norman Granz.
Apart from a split to the top seam at the opening and a few small
marks to the booklet, the sleeve shows just a degree of
edgescuffing and the vinyl remains in EX-/EX condition with just
light surface scuffs and hairlines to show for nearly sixty years.
An acceptable, of not mint, copy of this classic at an

Shaw & Cozy Cole, scalloped flipback picture sleeve with
'54/11' printing date on the bottom flip. The unlaminated
sleeve shows just a few spots of discolouration with very little
general shelfwear& the vinyl is a high quality heavyweight
