BERT JANSCH Bert Jansch (Rare 1966 UK 15-track LP on the
white/purple label with 't' globe logo, front laminated picture
sleeve. Originally recorded by Bill Leader on a reel to reel in
Jansh's kitchen & sold to the Transatlantic label for the
princely sum of £100. Transatlantic pressed the album
directly from that reel to reel & it went on to sell 150,000
copies - Not bad for a 'Folkie'! With such gems as 'Do You
Hear Me Now?' [later a hit for Donovan], the chilling 'Needle
Of Death' & the omnipresent cover of Davey Graham's 'Angie',
which was seen as pretty much a rite of passage for people
entering the London sixties Folk scene. The front laminated
picture sleeve shows very little shelfwear & the vinyl is clean
& in Excellent to Near Mint condition with few signs of play -
overall a great copy of this groundbreaking album TRA125)

BERT JANSCH Nicola (1967 UK 1st issue 12-track Transatlantic LP,
front laminated picture sleeve. This fifth album was something of a
departure and saw several songs fleshed out with orchestration and
backing, with hindsight it was a pretty brave attempt to harness some
of the 'swinging sixties' into his music and move on from the strict
confines of folk. The sleeve on this copy shows some minor storage
wear and, apart from a couple of light scuffs, the vinyl is in excellent
condition TRA157)

BERT JANSCH Moonshine (One-Off Test Pressing for

stellar cast including Tony Visconti, Mary Hopkin, Danny

labels are plain white & annotated with the artist, album title &
tracklist detail either side - very few of these would have been
produced this way, usually for an engineer to test the sonics or
be sent for review purposes prior to finished release. The picture
