THELONIOUS MONK Thelonious Monk Plays Duke Ellington (Scarce 1960s UK 2nd press 8-track mono LP on the blue 'reel & mic' label with hand etched matrices in the run-outs, featuring backing from Oscar Pettiford & Kenny Clarke. Comes housed in astunning front laminated flipback picture sleeve with striking 'Repast Of The Lion' artwork from French painter, Henri Rousseau. The sleeve is Excellent with minimal edgewear (small catalogue number [raffle ticket!] affixed to back) and the vinyl also grades Excellent with few signs of play RLP12-201)
