MISSISSIPPI JOHN HURT Today! (2006 UK limited edition 12-track LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL, originally released on Vanguard in 1966; Hurt recorded a few brilliant sides in the '20s, then ostensibly disappeared off the face of theEarth until, at the age of 70, he began one of the greatest comebacks in music history. From his first '60s shows until his death in 1966, Hurt was a popular mainstay of the folk-music circuit, and this collection demonstrates why the audiences loved him so! Housed in a single-pocket matte picture sleeve with catalogue insert. The sleeve shows some slight shelfwear and edgewear, whilst the vinyl looks barely played; thus remaining in Near Mint condition VSD79220)
