THE PRETTY THINGS The Pretty Things (1965 UK first pressing 12-track mono LP on the 'rough' textured black and silver Fontana label. Their legendary debut attempting [and succeeding] to outdo The Stones with gritty versions of Bo Diddley songssuch as Road Runner recorded way up into the red. The front laminated FLIPBACK picture sleeve remains in good condition with some notable edge wear with paper loss/foxing and creasing. The labels show traces around the spindle area withscuffs visible upon close inspection of the vinyl. Overall a good copy of this amazing mono debut in the rarer flipback sleeve variant TL5239)
