Bookends + Poster - Mono

SIMON & GARFUNKEL Bookends (Monster Rare 1968 US promotional 12-track MONO LP, with custom black on white 'two eye' Columbia labels, the only version of the album in mono, pressed in a small run & intended for AM radio play only in the States. Comes housed in the original pasted lyric picture sleeve with custom 'Special Mono Radio Station Copy' sticker attached to the front as well as the tracklist/suggested cuts timing strip along the bottom, complete with the large full colour poster.The sleeve is Excellent with a few faint spots of discolouring & minimal shelf wear. The limited poster remains folded & unused. The vinyl grades VG & plays very well on its intended mono playback setting, with a nice sheen & multiple hairlines & paper scuffs either side not upsetting play KCS9529)
