MAX ROACH We Insist! Max Roach's Freedom Now Suite (Rare 1960 US 5-track deep groove Mono LP on the orange & yellow Candid label, an Avant-Garde Jazz epic relating to the Civil Rights Movement, also starring Abbey Lincoln, Walter Benton, Coleman Hawkins, Julian Priester, Booker Little, James Schenck & an expanded percussion section including Babatunde Olatunji on conga. The pasted picture sleeve grades VG with some discolouring around the edges & a seam split to the bottom right corner, but with all text legible including the spine. The vinyl is clean & grades Excellent with just a little faint cosmetic wear not interfering with play CJM8002)
