Morrissey's autobiography caused a certain amount of controversy when first published; who was this young upstart whose autobigraphy was published as part of the Penguin Classicsseries? [other luminaries include Virginia Woolf, Albert Camus, Tolstoy and err Shakespeare], controversy aside it makes for a fascinating read, offering real insight into the authors early life and, crucially, his time with the Smiths. The cover shows very little wear and is overall in excellent condition)
