STEVE VAI Steve Vai's Flexable (Very hard to find 1984 US 11-track LP, one of only a thousand copies pressed & only available from Steve Vai directly, either personally or by mail. Completely self financed, this eclectic mix of recorded work stands as his first solo project. The record also includes the lyric insert / flyer for ordering the 10" 'Flexable Leftovers' mini album of stuff left over when compiling the album. The album was later tweaked and re-released with completely different artwork a few times, but this is how it first arrived on the scene nearly thirty years ago. Ranging from the very silly 'Little Green Men' to the very impressive, like 'The Attitude Song', this is a classic 'portfolio' album where Mr Vai shows you just what he can do. The sleeve shows some age yellowing and a bit of light wear, but remains unsplit with a clearly readable spine. The vinyl too remains in EX-/EX condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for all its years in the wild.
