HAWKWIND Shot Down In The Night (2009 Russian exclusive limited Lilith edition 14-track 2-LP set pressed on Heavyweight 180gram VIRGIN VINYL; Featuring the 1979 gig for the Space-rockers and one that marked the transition between hard rock and the acid psych scene of the 80s. Released a decade after these proto-punks first took to the stage, the pure sonic force on this album, featuring original guitarist Huw Lloyd Langton, earned them a contract with Motorhead-s label,Bronze Records.
