The vinyl is Excellent to Near Mint with a deep sheen both sides & minimal signs of play. The pink-rimmed palm tree labels are bright & clear & free from any spindle marks.

The machine stamped matrix numbers are as follows:
Side One ILPS9105 A-3U
Side Two ILPS9105 B-3U

This copy is housed in a gatefold sleeve with the Island 'eye' logo and Basing Street address along the bottom edge on the rear cover - only first issue sleeves had these details. The second issue sleeves had a slightly different shade of green on the front. Also the card is thicker on the second issues and the rear of the sleeve just has a small 'i' logo where the address is printed on the first issues.

The cover remains in Excellent condition. The panels are nice & clean & there is no writing or tears. There is just a little minor colour bleed on the spine with age. A really pleasing, collector's example of this desirable Nick Drake debut, a true classic!
