Ode To A Highflying Bird - First Edition

CHARLIE WATTS Ode To A High Flying Bird (Extremely rare original 1964 UK first edition 5"x7" 36-page hardback book - a charming and heartfelt tribute to Charlie's hero, legendary jazz saxophonist Charlie 'Yardbird' Parker, in the form of an illustrated poem. The original cream boards have the title printed on the front with a black and white photograph of the author on the reverse. The boards show only light rubbing with very slight wear to the spine -all pages are intact and in perfect condition. A facsimile edition was published in 1991, but be assured that this is the real deal - the original seven shillings price label even remains securely fixed inside. A piece of early Stones history and a superb investment item!)
