AMANCIO D'SILVA Integration (Holy Grail 1969 UK first press 7-track STEREO LP on the black & silver one EMI box logo label in the Lansdowne Series, now regarded as a collector's milestone in British Jazz. This Indo-Jazz Fusion, hot on the heels of John Mayer & Joe Harriott's outings, sees the sitar-like finger picking of Amancio assisted by titans of the British Jazz scene; Don Rendell, Ian Carr, Trevor Tomkins & Dave Green. Complete with the original red tinted advert inner & matte flipback picture sleeve, the sleeve remains in Very Good condition with edge scuffing & minor discolouring. All print remains clearly legible including along the spine. This copy was stored by a keen Jazz collector who catalogued each record with a small number sticker on the sleeve - There is a number annotation on the top flipback & a numbered sticker on the front & back, top left & top right corners, unobtrusive to the print. Lastly, a small paper tear on the front, just above the head of the artist's image, has been historically tape repaired in the past. The vinyl is glowing & remains nice & clean & in Excellent condition with just the very lightest few signs of play in its lifetime. A real joy to find! SCX6322)
