JOE HARRIOTT QUINTET Free Form (Legendary 1961 US first press 8-track stereo LP on the black & silver Jazzland label, recorded at Lansdowne Studios in London, England in 1960 with Shake Keane [trumpet], Pat Smythe [piano], Coleridge Goode [bass] & Phil Seamen [drums]. This was music without set harmony or rhythm, going a step further than Ornette Coleman but without much commercial reward, it is now considered a landmark album. The pasted picture sleeve [VG] has just a few tiny paper marks including a small half inch split at the bottom opening, with all text clearly legible, it is fully textured with wonderful abstract artwork. The vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with barely any play JLP949S)
