B B KING Live In Cook County Jail (Limited Edition 2000 UK/EU issue of the 1971 8-track LP pressed on 180gram Vinyl & mastered from the original master tapes, recorded September, 1970 in Cook County Jail, Chicago. Agreeing to a requestby the jail warden, King & his band performed for an audience of over two thousand prisoners, many of whom were young black men. The album met with critical acclaim & had great impact on King who would go on to repeat similar free concerts forinmates. Housed in a replica picture sleeve with the series catalogue brochure, the sleeve is still in the hype stickered open shrinkwrap & the vinyl is Near Mint)
