MUDDY WATERS Electric Mud (2017 US issue of the 1968 8-track LP pressed on 180gram vinyl - this is the famous 'somebody-put-something-in-the-Waters' album, originally released in 1968; a relative hit for Chess, it features the exalted bluesman bellowing over psychedelicized arrangements that owe more to Steppenwolf than Willie Dixon - Waters himself complained that the drums were 'too busy' and the lead guitar sounded like 'a cat's meow'! A shame; we think it rocks! Housed ina gatefold picture sleeve which along with the vinyl remains in near mint condition)
