GIACOMO PUCCINI Turandot (Tas listed 1980s issue of the 1973 UK Decca label stereo triple LP box set, also featuring Joan Sutherland, Luciano Pavarotti, Monserrat Caballe, Peter Pears, Nicolai Ghiaurov and Tom Krause with the John Alldis Choir, complete with extensive fifty six page illustrated libretto in English, French & German in a nice picture box. This star studded performance of Puccini's last opera includes Luciano Pavarotti performing as the unknown prince, a role is he did not often assume despite his famous association with the Prince's most famous aria, Nessun Dorma. The box shows some notable edge scuffing whilst the vinyl is at least Excellent, showing minimal signs of play SET561-3)
