MIKE OLDFIELD Collaborations (Super Rare Test Pressing for the 2016 UK/EU 8-track LP compilation pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl, cut at Abbey Road by Sean Magee using the original masters, the first time this collection had been issued as a standalone release [originally part of the 'Boxed' set from 1973]. The labels are plain white & the catalogue number/matrices are etched in the run-outs. The vinyl is Near Mint & comes housed in a plain die-cut sleeve annotated withthe artist, title & engineer log date. Interestingly, this earliest test version is annotated 'Not Approved - Wrong version of 'Rio Grande''. Only a very small select handful of these would have been produced, purely to test the sonics & never to be sold to the general public this way. A superb ex-industry find)
