FELA KUTI Vinyl Box Set 4 (Limited Edition 2017 US 14-track SEVEN LP box set compiled by Erykah Badu, with past curators of the last three sold-out volumes being Ginger Baker, Questlove & Brian Eno. This incredible Afrobeat tome comprises thelate 70s, early 80s albums Yellow Fever, No Agreement, Johnny Just Drop (J.J.D.), V.I.P., Coffin For Head Of State, Army Arrangement & Underground System & is limited to 3000 copies. Each album is housed in a high quality picture sleeve replica with its insert, all kept in a deluxe 13" tall & 2" deep box complete with a 16"x24" poster designed by Nigerian artist Lemi Ghariokwu, the creative force behind 26 of Fela's album covers, as well as a 20-page booklet comprising essays by Erykah Badu, seven in-depth commentaries by veteran music journalist & Afrobeat historian Chris May, lyrics, plus never before published photos. Released to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Fela's death, this collector's set remains in Excellent condition. The packaging shows minimal wear & the vinyl is clean & in Excellent to Near Mint condition with a few faint paper scuffs to the odd album not affecting play KFR4005-1)
