THAD JONES The Magnificent Thad Jones (1983 Japanese promotional sample Toshiba remastered issue of the 1956 5-track mono LP, starring Billy Mitchell [tenor], Barry Harris [piano], Percy Heath [bass] and Max Roach [drums]. Includes thenear 11-minutes of 'Thedia', a classic Jones original with all players trading a series of jawdropping solos. The sleeve looks superb with just a few light indentations whilst the vinyl looks pristene showing no obvious signs of wear. Fantastic example of this hard to find Blue Note classic BLP-1527)
