BERNARD 'PRETTY' PURDIE Soul Drums (US 2009 exclusive limited edition 11-track LP pressed on High Definition Premium 180gram VIRGIN VINYL, originally released in 1968 by the legendary drummer, who lays down an instrumental funkygroove from start to finish - as Ken Hawkins [program director at WJMO Cleveland] so correctly puts it: "...real down-home rhythm-and-blues with a smidgin of real, hard-nosed, wailing rock. Ow!" The sleeve (still in opened hype-stickered shrink!) and vinyl are Near Mint P743337)
