DAVID BOWIE I Dig Everything (Astonishingly rare 1966 UK original one-sided 7" 45rpm metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetate for the single release; sporting an 'Advanced Promotion Acetate' Pye company label and hand-annotated title & artist information, as well as a date stamp of '16 Aug 1966'. This historic recording was the third of three recordings for Pye under the new & unknown name, 'David Bowie' and would be his last before his move to Deram later the same year. This acetate is one of a mere handful that would have been manufactured for reference purposes only and has survived the intervening half-century in amazing condition; the labels are clean with just a 'Sue' name annotation, which may possibly be a later addition, although it may be the person who the acetate was passed to inhouse. The playing surface has just a few, scant scuffs and playback is to an Excellent standard, full of warmth & punch. It is impossible to overstate how impressive this item is, from both a condition point of view as well as a historical one. We won't see another of these again and neither will you!)
