ROLAND KIRK QUARTET Rip, Rig & Panic (1965 UK 7-track stereo LP on a rough textured black & silver Mercury label, recorded at Rudy Van Gelder Studios on 13th January 1965 with Jaki Byard [piano], Richard Davis [bass] & Elvin Jones [drums], a trio one critic described as 'the most awesome rhythm section [Kirk] ever recorded with', pasted laminate picture sleeve. The sleeve shows some minimal annotation marks and a little discolouration to the reverse whilst the vinyl is Excellent with light evidence of play only. Classic pre-"Rahsaan" Kirk! SLML4015)
