ROGER TAYLOR Outsider (2021 Japanese only Amazon Japan issue Limited Edition 14-track SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players]. Roger's first full album of new material since 2013 with instrumentation almost entirely performed by Taylor himself, with his largely restrained vocals matching the album’s contemplative ambience, including two bonus recordings Surrender (remix) and London Town - C'mon Down (remix). Housed in a digipak picture sleeve with lyrics, and obi-strip. This example was available only through Amazon Japan, and includes a 9½" square print of the album artwork, which remains in an unopened protective bag)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
