BILLION DOLLAR BABIES Battle Axe (2021 UK limited edition reissue of the 2001 triple CD set from the band who were originally part of the 'Alice Cooper' band [before Vincent Furnier went down the solo route using the Alice Cooper name]. The 1977 'Battle Axe' was originally intended to be the second full Alice album before it was finally recorded by the band now using the name Billion Dollar Babies and features a creditable collection of a dozen original, commercial rock songs including the singles 'Too Young' and 'Rock 'N' Roll Radio'. The album has been augmented with a whole disc of demos made for the album, including non-album tracks 'I Don’t Know Babe', 'Wallow Through This Madness', 'Only One Will Walk Away' and 'High Heels Hollywood' together with recordings from their very first show on 6th July 1977 in Michigan where they played tracks from the 'Battle Axe' album as well as some Alice Cooper classics [songs they were instrumental in forging] including a medley of 'No More Mr. Nice Guy', 'Elected' and 'School's Out', plus an encore of 'Billion Dollar Babies'.
