Evil Woman, Don't Play Your Garmes With Me

BLACK SABBATH Evil Woman, Don't Play Your Garmes With Me (Rare 1970 original Japanese promotional 7" on the red & silver Philips label, manufactured by Nippon Phonogram Co. Ltd. - their debut single in Japan. This example is a rare promo copy with its delicate tri-centre spindle fully intact and the vinyl appears as a Translucent brown colour when held to the light. The pristine red label and the matt black picture insert both display a printed spelling mistake in the title; 'Garmes' instead of 'Games'. Song lyrics are printed on the back of the insert and the record itself is housed inside its period-correct 'Top Stars On Philips' company advert sleeve. Extremely hard-to-find)

Condition report:

Side 1 remains in VG condition, with numerous hairlines visible across the playing surface. Side 2 is similar, perhaps marginally better than Side 1.

The record labels to both sides are in Excellent condition. Clear, crisp silver print against the red coloured background. All titles perfectly legible and the important promo characters displayed near the 5 o'clock position. No stickers, no radio labels, no biro - a near perfect label.

Machine-stamped matrices:

PW M 2371 112 +
PW M 2372 121 +

The 'Top Stars On Philips' advert sleeve is near mint condition.

The picture lyric insert is VG+ Clear print, solid matt black background with minimal fade, blue and white text all excellent. No tears, no corners missing, no pen marks. Minor impression creases to the corners where the sleeve has been against the record.

Overall a very nice example of an extremely rare record.
