HOWLIN' WOLF Moanin' In The Moonlight (Very scarce 1964 UK 12-track mono vinyl LP on the first issue black & gold Chess label, front laminated picture sleeve. Originally released in the US in '59, this landmark collection brings together severalearly Chess '45s recorded by Phil Chess, Willie Dixon and Chester Burnett [Howlin' Wolf] plus two recordings made with Sam Phillips at Sun Studios, Memphis in the early '50s. The sleeve grades Excellent with just a little age discolouration tothe reverse and some very minor wear to the opening edge, the vinyl displays some spindle wear but the playing surface is Excellent with just the odd faint cosmetic blemish not affecting play - without doubt the best copy we've ever had the pleasure of offering for sale CRL4006) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
