B.B. KING Live In Cook County Jail (Historic 1971 UK Probe label 8-track LP housed in a special textured flipback picture sleeve, recorded September, 1970 in Cook County Jail, Chicago. Agreeing to a request by the jail warden, King & his band performed for an audience of over two thousand prisoners, many of whom were young black men. The album met with critical acclaim & had great impact on King who would go on to repeat similar free concerts for inmates. The sleeve [VG] has some ageing to the edges with no writing - there is a 2" split in the bottom right corner. The vinyl remains in Excellent condition with light signs of play only SPB1032)
