THE CHET BAKER QUARTET Chet Baker Quartet Volume 1 (Rare original 1956 UK 9-track mono LP on a black & silver Felsted label, recorded October 1955 at the Pathé-Magellan Studio, Paris with Dick Twardzik [piano], Jimmy Bond [bass] & Peter Littman [drums], housed in a fully laminated picture sleeve with scalloped flipbacks & '7-56' printing date. The delicate sleeve [VG-] has some ring wear & laminate peel by the opening on the back with some additional areas of paper loss from scuffingto the flipbacks. All print is clearly legible, there is no writing & the strong colours in the design still shine. The heavyweight vinyl remains Excellent with great playback & just some minor paper scuffs to show play PDL85008)
