JOHN SURMAN & FRIENDS Where Fortune Smiles (2019 UK limited edition 5-track remastered 180gm Picture Disc LP issue of the 1971 album released exclusively for Record Store Day - Performed by the legendary enterprise of John McLaughlin [guitar], John Surman [reeds], Karl Berger [vibes], Stu Martin [drums] & Dave Holland [bass] and recorded at the end of May 1970 at the Apostolic Studios in New York, 'Fortune Smiles' is a jazz fusion LP that sees all five musicians experimenting equally with their outstanding music qualities.
