FREDDIE HUBBARD Ready For Freddie (Limited Edition 2012 US 5-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters' 'Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue' series. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder for Blue Note in 1961, Ready For Freddie is an essential Hard Bop date from the late Hubbard performed alongside Wayne Shorter, McCoy Tyner, Art Davis & Elvin Jones [as well as Bernard McKinney on Euphonium!]. Comes housed in the highest qualitygatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve & the vinyl discs are Near Mint with few signs of wear & play MMBST-84085)
